Nissan Unveils Sketches of its Future Global Compact Car

Nissan has released two sketches of its new Global Compact Car. The new car will be launched in Thailand next March and eventually will be sold in 150 countries. This will replace the current Micra in Europe

Nissan hasn't announced if the car will make it to the US where it would slot in below the Versa in Nissan's lineup. Although from these sketches it's much better looking than the Versa.

Nissan Unveils Sketch of its Future Global Compact Car

YOKOHAMA (Oct. 1, 2009) - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today revealed the sketch of its global compact car. This model will be initially launched in Thailand in March 2010 and will be available in more than 150 countries.

At the same time, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announced that the model will qualify as Thailand's first "Eco-car." Thai Eco-car government policy is effective today and will help promote the development of energy efficient vehicles.
